Under Beringer Capital’s ownership, Adweek underwent significant digital transformation – revamping its digital products, building an audience data cloud, and launching new tools to deepen engagement and foster community. Alongside this, the company expanded its portfolio with 40+ new verticals and launched high-impact in-person and virtual events such as Brandweek, NexTech, Challenger Brands, and the D&I Council initiatives. In June 2020, following the successful evolution into a digitally led, event-driven business, Beringer sold Adweek to Shamrock Capital, positioning the company for continued global growth.
