Role Overview 

Beringer Capital is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Analyst/Associate to join our Investor Relations (IR) team. Reporting to the Vice President of Capital Formation, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing the firm's IR strategies, supporting capital-raising efforts, and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. 

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership, investment professionals, and operational teams while directly engaging with Beringer Capital's growing investor base. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and is passionate about private equity and relationship management. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Investor Relations Materials: Develop and manage investor presentations, fact sheets, due diligence documents, and other communication materials. 

  • Quarterly Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of investor letters, operational updates, and webcasts, ensuring timely and accurate communication. 

  • Meeting Coordination: Organize investor meetings and events for senior management, including preparing tailored presentations and briefing notes. 

  • Investor Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for investor inquiries, providing timely responses and ensuring a high standard of client service. 

  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze trends within the private equity and asset management sector, gathering competitive intelligence to inform investor strategy. 

  • Fund Performance Monitoring: Assist in the preparation of performance updates, audit confirmations, and fund metrics for internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams across investment, legal, and compliance functions to support fund closings and other strategic initiatives. 

  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute investor-focused events such as annual meetings and advisory committee sessions. 

 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field. Candidates pursuing or holding an MBA, CFA, CPA or equivalent designation. 

  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, investment or corporate banking, accounting, financial services, asset management, or consulting.  

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with CRM platforms is an asset. 

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of valuation methods, financial statement analysis, and investment performance measurement. 

  • Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level stakeholders and external investors. 

  • Detail-Oriented: Highly organized, resourceful, and meticulous, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Team-Oriented: Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
