Beringer Capital has announced the successful final close of Beringer Capital Fund V, raising nearly US$475 million (CAD $690 million), exceeding initial expectations despite a challenging fundraising environment. This marks Beringer’s third institutional strategy and will now be referred to as Fund III, aligning with the firm’s institutional fund sequence.
Fund III targets companies benefiting from digital transformation, focusing on accelerated growth through operational improvements and strategic acquisitions. The fund attracted diverse institutional investors, including pension funds, wealth management firms, and family offices, many of whom are returning investors.
Beringer has already made its first investment in Northern Commerce, a leading Canadian digital consulting platform. The firm’s disciplined, hands-on approach has earned a strong reputation for delivering exceptional returns, with Fund II performing above expectations and on track to return capital to investors in 2025.
