Role Overview

Beringer Capital is seeking an analytical self-starter to join the firm’s investment team for Summer 2026. As a Private Equity Intern, the selected candidate will be involved in numerous activities including:

  • Evaluating the attractiveness of potential investment opportunities by conducting industry & firm research, aiding with sophisticated financial models, analyzing due diligence materials, and preparing internal support documents for the firm’s Investment Committee.
  • Assisting in generating proprietary deal flow through personal research, working with industry partners, and conducting cold out-reaches.
  • Providing support in drafting proposals and information reports for Beringer Capital’s investor base.
  • Helping to build out Beringer Capital’s internal database systems.
  • Collaborating with other Beringer Capital team members on various ad-hoc projects related to the firm’s operations and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Analytical thinking skills with a solid understanding of accounting and financial modeling concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Current enrollment in the second or third year of an undergraduate degree with a record of strong academic performance.
  • Previous internship experience in private equity, corporate & investment banking, accounting, or any other finance function is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to work both remotely and in our Toronto office.
