Role Overview 

Beringer Capital is seeking an analytical self-starter to join the firm’s investment team as an Analyst. Role responsibilities include: 

  • Research & Analysis: Evaluate the attractiveness of investment opportunities through industry and company research, including analyzing business models, sector dynamics, competitive landscapes, financial performance, and growth opportunities. 

  • Deal Execution: Participate in end-to-end diligence processes, build detailed financial models, and assist in preparing investment materials and memos for the Investment Committee. 

  • Portfolio Support: Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to drive strategic, operational, and financial initiatives. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a point of contact for external partners including advisors, bankers, consultants, and brokers. 

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the firm on internal initiatives and strategic projects that contribute to Beringer Capital’s continued growth. 

 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, corporate finance, or accounting 

  • A university degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or a related discipline with strong academic performance 

  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills 

  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal 

  • High attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and timelines 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 

  • Primarily in-office culture with remote flexibility 

  • Eligibility to work in Canada and flexibility to work in-office and remotely as needed
